Mr. McConnin graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1991. He began practicing Real Estate law (and other law) in 1991. (He is also licensed to practice law in Florida.)
In the mid 1990s his law firm advised people on bankruptcy, mortgage and real estate workouts. The skills he honed in the mid 90s. were first called upon again 2006. Mr. McConnin listed one of the first short sales of this cycle after another Realtor referred a family member to him. Since then Mr. McConnin has helped hundreds of short sale and pre-foreclosure clients. McConnin & Company Realty has closed over 100 short sales.
Together with wife Corina he has 4 children. They spend most of their free time at youth sporting events in North County San Diego. John also enjoys working on his golf game with his brother Matt McConnin who is a golf instructor at Encinitas Ranch golf course. John’s fifth and sixth graders are avid junior golfers at Lomas Sante Fe Country Club in Solana Beach. John’s 6 year old loves playing baseball and soccer in Carlsbad. His only daughter, two year old Lindsay, is said, by her brothers, to be able to do anything she wishes.
Mr. McConnin has been licensed as an attorney in Calfornia since 1991. He is also licensed as an attorney in Florida. He is licensed as a Real Estate Broker in California since 2003.
